Brand Manager Urology

Major Tasks and Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding and anticipating external or internal customers’ needs to bring ultimately value to patients with everything we do
  • Develop and execute the operational brand plan in market. Sets ambitious targets that are aligned to the business unit or function objectives
  • Champion the brand in-country through an expertise in all aspects of the brand. Generate and gather insights, opportunities, risks and needs from the country markets
  • Align with the Commercial Director and the ATAL on brand priorities and market requirements. Partner with peer Brand Managers in the Area Affiliates and Area Associate Marketing Directors (ATALs) to develop the recommendations for the brand budget allocation
  • Lead and manage the local cross-functional brand group, ensuring inclusion of Sales Brand Champions, Medical, Business & Market Insights and Market Access. Certify training to the Field force team
  • Confirm all marketing channels identified for use locally (including but not limited to Digital). Engage with and manage the relationship with key local customers and KOLs to develop insights and services
  • Ensure locally-specific created initiatives and materials meet local needs by following the brand strategy and positioning
  • Promote and positively affect a culture of Ethics and Compliance, applying Integrity in Action, fosters cooperation and teamwork

Professional profile

  • Significant experience of contributing to the development and implementation of brand strategy to reflect local views and achieving exceptional results to budget
  • Experience of working in a Pharma sales organisation or similar environment
  • Proven track record of planning, managing product launches, measurement and revenue growth
  • Demonstrated experience of managing the brand life cycle within a market
  • Experience of contributing to/delivering to stretch KPIs, to sustainably grow the brand and maintain performance
  • Responsibility for significant budgets and forecasting preparation/delivery
  • Experience of implementing co-created patient centric integrated services, solutions and programs
  • Project management expertise, including end-to-end project management experience. Native speaker of national language (either German or French), fluent in business English
  • Desirable: Experience of the Therapeutic area if this is already established in Astellas

Location: Wallisellen (10 minutes from Zurich)

Some travelling activities within Europe, including overnight stays (about twice a month).
